Terms
These terms govern use of HumanRank during alpha. The site publishes editorial estimates, sources, uncertainty and correction paths. It is not an official score of human worth.
Editorial Nature
HumanRank is an experimental publication and tool. Rankings combine public data, versioned models and opt-in signals. A rank, score or interval may be incomplete, debatable or changed when sources, weights or methodology change.
Prohibited Uses
- Using HumanRank to decide credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, public benefits, immigration, policing or equivalent eligibility.
- Presenting a ranking as a factual, moral, medical, financial or legal verdict about a person.
- Scraping, reselling or reidentifying anonymous cohorts or opt-in personal data.
- Submitting false evidence, manipulated sources, spam, doxxing, threats or another person's data without authority.
- Creating duplicate, automated or coordinated claims to manipulate scores, weights or reputation.
Public People and Corrections
Named profiles are limited to living public figures with verifiable public evidence. Any profiled person may request correction, context, additional source, claim, partial unpublishing or appeal. Corrections may require editorial review before changing rank data.
Claims and Opt-in Evidence
- By claiming a profile, you authorize HumanRank to store authentication data, estimated rank, consent and evidence you add.
- Voluntary evidence must belong to you or you must have authority to submit it.
- We may reject evidence that is not verifiable, is abusive, infringes rights or increases unjustified bias.
- We may limit or reverse claims if we detect impersonation, abuse, automation or identity conflict.
Model, Weights and Votes
Model weights are public and can receive votes. Votes do not automatically change rankings; they enter a review queue for future versions. HumanRank may change weights, sources, tie-breakers, categories and uncertainty methods.
Abuse, Takedown and Suspension
We may hide profiles, block users, reverse claims, preserve abuse evidence or suspend features if there is risk of harm, fraud, harassment, legal violation or attack against ranking integrity.
Limitations
HumanRank is provided as is during alpha. We do not guarantee accuracy, continuous availability, error-free operation or fitness for a particular use. Where law allows, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes should be published with a new date. Continuing to use the site after changes means accepting the active version.
